Rev. Patricia felton, First Lady

Rev. Patricia C. Felton, serves as Associate Pastor of Life Builders Church of God in District Heights, MD.  She also serves on several Church of God regional boards including the Women’s Board; the Calling And Ministry Studies (CAMS) Board; and the Regional Prayer Commission.

Rev. Pat is married to Bishop Ricky A. Felton, Senior Pastor of Life Builders COG and has been blessed by God with three wonderful children, Ricky II, Jacqueline, and Rachel.

While attending H.J. Hines Ministries which she joined immediately after receiving Christ as her Savior and Lord in 1983, she became a teacher at the ministry’s “Young Warriors for Christ” youth group. 

Rev. Pat and her family joined Harvest Temple Church of God in 1991 where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, and Praise Team Member.  This would prove valuable to the work God had planned for her as Associate Pastor and Worship Leader at Christian Love Church of God. 

She received her Church of God Exhorter’s License in November 2006.  In December 2006, she assisted Bishop Felton in planting Christian Love Church of God, and on March 11, 2018 she received her Church of God Ordained Minister’s license.

Rev. Pat is a retiree from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development where she worked and ministered for over 42 years.  While a large part of her ministry was to managers and executives at the Department of HUD, she has also ministered at women’s conferences and retreats; children’s retreats; and church events.

Rev. Pat has learned to give God all praise for the gifts and callings in her life.  She’s excited to continue to walk out the destiny God has set for her and is committed to sharing God’s love for the rest of her life.
